Here at Netherdutch kennels we are very passionate about all aspects of dog training. We welcome all breeds and ages of dogs, primarily working with sport dogs. We offer 1-1 training sessions personalized to your dogs needs and your goals. From obedience, to correcting unwanted behaviors, to perfecting existing skills, and confidence building. We go over the theory and practical side of training in detail, and work on creating a training plan to help you and your dog build a better relationship together. During your training session we learn more about your dog, observe what you already do, and allow time for you to ask questions and troubleshoot. We are happy to listen and support you to achieve your goals.

We also offer day training, where your dog spends the whole day with us on our secure premises working on there individual needs and your goals, including drive and engagement, obedience, confidence building, loose lead walking, recall, socialization, reactivity, or any other behavior you would like us to work on. During this time we provide training , paired with breaks/free time to allow the dog to process the information and go to toilet etc, treats and toys will be supplied and on handover we give our full assessment and training plan going forward.

Ecollar training is a service we also offer. This is great for dogs that struggle with recall and have a high prey drive. Our Ecollar training system works by conditioning your dog to respond with a wanted behavior using positive reinforcement and the stimuli of the collar. All introductions and training are done carefully with an experienced and knowledgeable trainer over a space of 1-3 sessions. Please note not all dogs are suitable for Ecollar training so an assessment must be booked prior to training commencing.
